Provision of material aid for people from Ukraine.

Description

We provide several forms of assistance to people from Ukraine who have been granted the status of temporary refuge in Slovakia.

Food, material aid and counselling

  • We provide counselling for pre-registered persons online/in person/phone.
  • We provide food aid for pre-registered persons (mothers with children under 15, pensioners over 65, disabled persons).
  • Distribution of clothes is not limited.
  • We provide material aid from Tuesday to Saturday.

Disabled people, oncology patients and seniors

We started a new form of food aid intended for specifically vulnerable persons with the status of temporary refuge in Slovakia. You are entitled to this form of aid if you meet one of the following conditions:

  • According to the Ukrainian legislation, you have the degree of disability 1 and 2, regardless of age.
  • You are an oncology patient. It will be necessary to submit a medical report not older than 3 months or a registration card from an oncology institute.
  • You are a senior citizen. You were born in or before 1948.

We will provide you with food vouchers for which you can get food of your choice after the registration. The project will last until 31st August 2023.

Counselling and community activities for specifically vulnerable persons

We offer counselling and community activities for specifically vulnerable persons who have been granted the status of temporary refuge in Slovakia.

  • Basic social counselling.
  • Assistance with writing a CV when applying for a job.
  • Assistance with looking for doctors.
  • Assistance with looking for schools.

  • The services are not available on public holidays.
  • The services are for people from Ukraine.
  • The services are also provided by female staff.
  • There are easily accessible toilets separated by gender in the facility.
  • The entrance is barrier-free.
  • The services are free of charge.
